History

In 1972 Steve Fett Senior and Steve Fett Junior started vegetable farming in Delhi, Ontario. At this time, Steve Senior ploughed the fields and harvested the potatoes, while Steve Junior looked after marketing the business.

In 1983 Steve Fett Junior married his wife Paula. At this time, they started their own Potato farm on their new property. Over the years, they went from a one row power take-off digger to a self propelled harvester and increased their potato farm land from 50 to over 600 acres.

In 1993, Steve and Paula implemented the green sprouting process to help speed the sprouting and growth process.

In 1998 they started growing specialty varieties of potatoes including All Blue potatoes and Fingerlings.

In May 2002 Steve and Paula incorporated to S. Fett Farms Inc.

Today S. Fett Farms supplies potatoes to distributors, restaurants, and markets all over North America.
